River Garage Safari
Crabble Corn Mill has taken over the reins of the annual River Garage Safari following the retirement of our long-time supporter Carol Bennett. This year's Garage Safari will take place on Sunday 5th July 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. around the village of River.
Have a great day out browsing around the village where residents will have their wares available for sale. There will also be stalls at Crabble Corn Mill and the Mill will be open for light refreshments. Visitors can also take in a tour of the Mill inbetween forays into the village.
Maps showing participating locations will be on sale for 50p each from Crabble Corn Mill and from the River Convenience Store at the end of Lewisham Road.
Snacks and hot & cold beverages available from the Mill Tea Room. Licenced bar.
Beer & Cider Festival 2026
This year's festival is being held over the weekend of 22nd to 24th May 2026. We will be featuring some 50 beers and 30 ciders from around the country, many of which will not have been seen at this festival before.
Take advantage of our earlybird booking options to receive a 20% discount on admission. Please note that CAMRA members will not be able to claim an additional discount on this earlybird offer.

Crabble Corn Mill is participating in this initiative to promote the museums of Kent to a younger audiance. Wheels of Time is a partnership of around 88 museums and heritage sites in Kent, Essex and Surrey developed to promote education in history and heritage among young children. This purpose is achieved by running a scheme to encourage children, between the ages of 5 and 11, to visit museums and heritage sites in Kent. Normal admission charges to the mill will apply.
