From the Dock exit road keep to the left hand lane. Approaching the roundabout take the slip lane signposted for the A2 and Canterbury (Jubilee Way). This bears left and up hill and crosses over the top of the Eastern Docks.

At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, signposted A2 Canterbury. You will pass the junction for the A256 to Eastry and Sandwich.

Approach the next roundabout in the left-hand lane. Take the 2nd exit signposted River, Temple and Dover (North) and proceed down Whitfield Hill. At the mini-roundabout at the bottom of the hill turn left towards Dover.

After about a mile there is a set of traffic lights. Turn right at these lights (signposted River and Crabble Athletic Ground). Coach drivers should refer to the "Directions for Coach Drivers" page at this point.

Proceed down the hill, under the railway bridge. Take the 2nd turning on the right into Lower Road - there is a sign pointing to the Mill at this junction. About 300 metres along this road you will find the Mill on the right.

Free parking is available in River Recreation Ground, which is on the left just before the Mill.
